Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I book an appointment with Onset DNA?
You can book an appointment directly through our website. Select your desired service, complete the payment, and provide the required information. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive instructions on the next steps.

Onset DNA offers mobile services in various areas, including Downtown Houston, North Houston, Northwest Houston, Southeast Houston, and Southeast Texas. For a full list of our service areas, visit our Locations page. Please note these are service areas, not physical office locations.

For non-legal DNA testing, a DNA kit will be mailed to you within 1-2 business days of payment. You are responsible for bringing the kit to your appointment for the DNA Specimen Collector to use.

Important: Ensure the DNA kit remains sealed and untampered with until the appointment. Tampering with the kit may compromise the integrity of the test. To ensure timely delivery of your kit, schedule your appointment between 3-5 business days after payment. If your kit does not arrive on time, contact us immediately for assistance.

Due to the convenient and mobile nature of our services, refunds are not available. If you notice an error with your appointment date or time, you must contact us within 24 hours to correct it. However, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Results are typically delivered promptly, but occasional delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. Rest assured, we will keep you informed throughout the process.
