Paternity DNA Test

$450.00

Description

Paternity DNA testing delivers precise and dependable confirmation of a biological relationship between a father and child, giving clarity in personal and legal matters. This test is often used to establish paternity for cases involving child support, custody disputes, and inheritance rights. By providing accurate results, it helps families make informed decisions and promotes stronger familial bonds.  If court-ordered, be sure to upload your documents at the time of booking.  This test involves the child, the alleged father, and sometimes the mother (optional but highly recommended) for more accurate results. A buccal (cheek) swab is required.  Results in 2-3 business days. 2 participants required

Once your payment is processed, you will immediately receive an email with instructions on how to register and book your appointment.  Be sure to have your ID and Legal Documents (if required).

How a Buccal Swab Works

A buccal swab is a simple, non-invasive procedure used to collect DNA from the inside of your cheek. The swab is rubbed gently against the inside of your cheek to collect cells that contain your unique DNA.

How to Prepare for a Buccal Swab:

  • Rinse Your Mouth: About 30 minutes before your appointment, rinse your mouth with water to remove any food particles.
  • Avoid Eating or Drinking: Do not eat, drink, or smoke at least 30 minutes before the test to ensure the sample is not contaminated.
  • No Oral Care Products: Avoid using mouthwash, brushing your teeth, or chewing gum right before the swab to avoid any interference with the sample.

By following these simple steps, you’ll help ensure that the buccal swab is effective and provides accurate results.

At Onset DNA, we handle your DNA testing with care, precision, and respect for your privacy.
